always always beautiful sk
Fred… I am so glad they found you. I couldn’t think of a better person to talk to anyone about Floyd. I have nothing but the highest regards for you. I was just joking in context to the caption under the photo and the write up about music in Floyd. When my eye first went to the photo I expected to see Woody Crenshaw….which would have been the obvious. But it wasn’t the obvious, which hit my stupid teeny tiny funny bone.
I did not have a negative thought in my head and I hope no offense was taken. I think the world of you and just made a joke but didn’t intend to offend. I hope none was taken.
These two young men also have footage on Doug, and I have a few shots in my camera of that taping, soon to the blog.
They found me via the blog, we talked, I connected them with some Jamboree contacts; they were seeing Mac Traynham and Scott Perry this morning, Woody and others last night at the store.
Their goal from the weekend is for a short multimedia presentation that will eventually be on the Smithsonian webpage–if they have usable footage.
