“House of Good and Evil,” the suspense film shot mostly in Floyd County in 2012, and featuring a lot of help and assistance from locals, screened at the Grandin Theater in Roanoke Saturday night before an appreciative audience and many stuck around after the film to ask questions of screenwriter and producer Blu de Golyer and cast members.
Questions from the audience saw traces of the late Alfred Hitchcock in the film, filmed at the old Cannady School House building in Floyd County with a cast that included Rachel Marie Lewis, Christian Oliver and Rob Neukirch.
Neukirch joined de Golyer and fellow cast member Bo Keister from Christiansburg to answer questions and talk about the film.
The film has shown at film festivals and on pay-per-view and is scheduled for release soon on DVD. De Golyer said he is still hoping for a theatrical run for the movie.
