With the exception of Monday and Saturday of this week, rain and the threat of severe thunderstorms dominate the weather forecasts for the next 10 days.
Tuesday shows an 80 percent chance of rain — threatening the first round of regional softball playoffs scheduled to start at Floyd County High School with the Lady Buffaloes facing Randolph Henry.
Looks like May showers will become June showers and a wet time is expected.
Of course, predicted heavy rains missed much of Floyd County over the weekend so the forecasts can both change and be off.
Tis the season to be folly.
