Floyd County High School’s home volleyball season kicked off Tuesday night with middle school, junior varsity and varsity matches against Carroll County.
The middle school and junior varsity Buffaloes went to third and final matches against the Cavaliers with wins before the varsity fell to the visitors in three games.
The Lady Buffs varsity went down 2-0 early on and could not recover. The loss leaves the team at 0-2 for the young season.
