Wrestling, delayed because of the snow earlier in the week, brought Auburn and Pulaski County to Floyd County High School for a three-way match in the old gym Thursday evening.

The rescheduled game faced more delay after it took an hour after the 6 p.m. planned start for a referee to appear and get the matches underway with Auburn facing the Pulaski Cougars before doing up against the Buffaloes.

The Buffs won most of the matches.  More photos and Roger Mannon’s story in the next edition of The Floyd Press.

The JV and Varsity Lady Buffaloes face James River in a basketball confrontation Friday at FCHS.  The JV game is set for 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7 p.m. in what was originally scheduled as the winter homecoming but that celebration is pushed to February.
