Fantastic weather, a good crowd and a great time at the opening day of Chantilly Farms BBQ & Bluegrass Festival Friday.
The annual festival kicked off at noon and played into the night for the first day of the three days of music, food, arts, crafts and fun at the event site on Franklin Road in Floyd County.
Highlighted acts for the first day included Sammy Shelor and the Lonesome River Band, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice and Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers.
Saturday’s lineup includes another performance by Junior Sisk along with The Grascals, Band of Ruhks and The Steeldrivers.
Sunday features Janet Turner & Friends, The Comptons, Tony & Heather Made and Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers.
