A clear, starry winter night in the mountains. Actually, a clear, starry winter night as seen from our front porch just before daybreak. I love watching night turn into morning. It’s the calmest time of the day, a quiet moment for reflection and thought. Our own tranquility base.
I love that time of day too. What a lovely picture.
I woke up this morning feeling like I’d been run over by a bus – headache, nauseous, the whole bit. Eventually, I got up and wondered down to the computer to check in with CHB. I love your photography, Doug, and always try to see what’s new here first. I wasn’t disappointed – this is superb. (I almost feel 50% better now-thanks!)
I LOVE this picture. I lived in Floyd for almost ten years (I am Colleen’s niece) and have recently moved back to Mass.
I miss views like this!!!!
Hi Doug, i wandered onto your blog via doing a search on google for a house in mexico .. smile.. have enjoyed viewing your photos very much. I can’t help taking pics of the moon either, it just calls i think. I have a new cheap digcam and got the best moon shot out of it, i was rapt.
